The Adventures Begin Here - A post made for a Giveaway :)

Ho ho ho...yep, you got it right, it's my first post ever!

I've been dreaming of making blog since I was in high school, but now it's 6 years since i graduated from HS and yeah guys, it took me too much time to finally start blogging! *don't blame me hahaha*

This first post is dedicated, or inspired,...err.. or encouraged (:D) by a giveaway. I'm always interested in giveaways (who wouldn't?), but i'm also always reluctant to make a post in my blog only because the requirements of the giveaway asks me to do so. But..not this time! What giveaway could make me do this?

*drum rooollll* it's a Nail Polish giveaway by Kiki Coroline! the giveaway is here if you want to check it out (it's going to end soon, but anyway :D.) The giveaway will give so many tempting prizes (if you're a nail polish lover, u'll understand what i mean). How tempting? What are they? Uh i can't describe it!!! Go check the site out to understand what happens inside my head!

But why, why, why should make a post in a blog just to get this giveaway, Iv?

Lemme begin with the reason why i love nail polishes.

I couldn't do any makeup. Not just an appropriate makeup; but I didn't even know how to put eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, etc. (it changes now, later about this :D). Then I found one decorative makeup that I was sure I could learn to use it correctly: nail polish.

I can't remember my really first encounter with nail polish, I think it didn't become a hot item when i was in elementary. But I remember my mom bought a Revlon polish in a very natural shade, a shade that the BA described as 'a color of healthy nails'. I fell in love with that, but I wasn't at home too often at that time to make a really good use of the Revlon; until finally my mom finished *or lost* the Revlon *sob*. My love for nail polish grew again when I saw the cute bottles lining in a rack in an accessories store; yes, it's Pokari, a local nail polish brand which is sooo cheapp *now that I found out millions of nail polishes out there with more expensive price, haha*.

I was so in love with the polish I finally bought; it's a shimmery green tosca shade, so gorgeous even until now! Don't get it wrong, it's not cheesy and doesn't look cheap! I assumed later that it's in Pokari's higher line, so the price is also more expensive (Rp 8.000, while the other polishes from another line is Rp 4.000-5.000).

Later on, I resist myself to get more polishes because: I didn't find the color that I looked for (mostly green hehe :D); and I didn't work! I was still dependent on my parents to give me money, and yeah, it's not unlimited, u know :p

Shortly, after graduating from uni, I work, and have been *HAVE BEEN* motivated (such a positive word right :p) to buy more polishes.

These are my nail polishes with my favorite shade ever, green. Sorry, but this list is growing, apparently :p, and this is not the most updated collection, it was taken in June last year :D Want to see my complete list and more greens? See you in next posts, then! :) :)

the green Pokari that I talked about earlier is the 3rd from the right :)

To sum up, thanks to Kiki Coroline that made the giveaway, which also encouraged me more to start posting in my blog. Surely, the giveaway will trigger other posts, be it about nails, or the other things that interest me! See you! :)
